Back To Square One

A few days ago, when we were picking up some things from the grocery store, we ran into one of Hub's cousins. We mentioned that Bailey was just getting over the chicken pox and she laughed and said, "Why didn't you invite my boys over to play? I want them to get chicken pox."

Now she just might get her wish. Sophie started getting all spotty on Monday evening, so I took her to the doctor and got medicine and cream. She takes the medicine fine, but she absolutely hates when I try to put the cream on her. She has a slight fever and my best guess is the cream is too cold against her skin. I have tried to convince her that it will make her feel better but to no avail.

Last night was particularly rough. the medicine seems to make her sleepy but the itchiness keeps her awake. She spent most of the night either itching or crying. She seems to be in better spirits this morning. We will see if that lasts.

Time to take a shower and get myself presentable for the co-op delivery man. Excitement, excitement, excitement.

Hi I'm new to your blog. I see Ms Gina is here. :) I had chicken pox as a kid and it's SO not fun! I remember all the scratching. Drove me nuts. I know when I have kids I'll have to get them vaccinated. :) I hope your boy is doing better and back to his self.
