It's Really Snowing!!

We had a rather big snowfall for our area, this past Monday.  The kids even got to make a snowman which turned out to be more like a tower when they decided to see if they could make the world's tallest snowman.  Of course, after playing out in the snow they had hot chocolate with whipped cream because we ran out of marshmellows.

Family Picture?

The kids went crazy with the camera the other day.  Bailey took a shot of the three of us and Sophie returned the favor by taking a picture of Bailey's jacket.

Picture Dump

 Hubs is so good about taking pictures and so, when he said it was probably time to update the old blog, I had to agree.

 As our final good bye to summer we got some fireworks for the kids and took them to a nearby park.  Probably not legal, but with no yard we had to improvise.  We were super careful　(although Hubs did burn his finger once- or twice) and made sure to clean up our mess before we left.  This pic cracks me up- just look at those faces.  Bailey all cautious and perhaps a bit worried and Sophie almost bored with waiting for something to happen.

Close Animal Encounters

Last Sunday, we went to a drive through safari park. We bought animal feed and waited for the animals to approach our car. Can't you just tell that this one was a messy, slobbery eater?

There was also a little zoo that had some cool animals, including this kangaroo momma and baby.

A "Fair" Day

We took the kids to see Madagascar 3 today. Good lord, I forgot how yummy movie popcorn was!
