Over a lunch of chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese, I started up a conversation with Bailey.
"Remind me to pick up Daddy's shirts from the cleaners. He is all out of clean ones," I said.
"I don't wanna take a nap," came Bailey's reply fast and furious.
"That makes no sense. I asked you to help me remember to pick up Daddy's shirts and you said you didn't wanna take a nap. What's that about?" I teased him.
"That makes sense," Bailey tried out the new phrase.
"That makes eggsense."
Stifling a giggle, I said, "You forgot the no part."
Giving one last try, he said, "That makes no thank you."
Think we might have to work on that one, don't you?
