Holidays in our family always mean deviled eggs. To make them a little fancier use a piece of thread to slice the eggs in half. This requires two people. One person holds the thread taut and the other person cuts the egg by wiggling it back and forth to make pretty jagged edges once it is cut through. Makes a beautiful presentation.
Pretty deviled eggs works for me. For more great tips or to add your own stop on by Ms. Shannon's.

This is a great tip. I've heard of using dental floss or thread to cut cheese, but not for deviled eggs, which I always serve during the holidays. Thanks for sharing! =)
Great idea. Do you have a picture to show us? :)
Ohhhh...yeah, a picture would be something too!!! I would imagine they are really pretty!
What a wonderful tip! Just the two of us will have to give it a try. :)
I've never heard of this but would
love to see a picture.
Deviled eggs are my daugher's
"specialty" around the holidays...
she would love this tip!
deviled eggs have always been my specialty and contribution to family get togethers...if I don't bring them everyone raises a rukus!!
I put shredded cheese and a touch of mustard in mine.
:-D
Thanks for this. I’m running out of ideas to make cooking with my 3-year old interesting. You just gave me one.

That sounds really cool! I'll have to remember to try that.
This sounds very pretty! It sounds like the Pampered Chef Crinkle cutter. It is a kid safe cutter, and makes squiggly lines when you cut. It can also be used for carrots, cucumbers, etc. And who doesn't love deviled eggs??
