WFMW 6- Pan Clean Up

Some times, no matter what you do you just can't get off the stuck on, burnt on food from your frying pan or pot. This is a trick my friend's mom taught me. Fill the pot or pan about halfway full with water add about 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Bring the water to a boil. The boiling water helps to loosen the food and the salt acts as an abrasive. Try to clean the pan while it is still warm for best results.

Blast, I guess I can't just throw these pans away anymore & buy new ones. Great tip.

Good idea! I think I may have heard of something similar with baking soda, but I usually have nore salt on hand than baking soda.
