After The Morning Rush

The last few weeks, with the holidays and Hubs being super busy at work, "me time" has been in rather short supply. With both kids back in school this week, I went to a nearby coffee shop this morning and enjoyed an iced coffee and a good book. I just started the first book of the Millennium trilogy, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and at first, I was so tempted to give up, but I am glad I stuck with it. I am a little over 100 pages into it and I am finding it hard to put down!

Thank you for the encouragement! I am at page 50ish (got it for Christmas) and have been wondering if all my friends and family are not such good judge's of good reading afterall. I'll persevere!

I think a good book and some coffee and a nice little cafe someplace sounds very nice. Certainly a nice way to relax and get back into the school routines.

You definitely deserve that time for yourself.

They made that into a movie, right. Good for you for readng the book. I enjoy reading too. It's very relaxing isn't it. ; )

I just finished the book tonight and the first thing I thought of was you! What did you think of it? Will you read the next one? Do you want to visit Sweden? Are you scared about whose reading your emails? Me? I never totally worked out the family tree and missed a lot of the finance/ Sweden specific references but despite that found it hard to put down at the end. I didn't like the icky bits and the three page teaser for the second one at the back of the book made me think I'll wait awhile before I pick that up but I'm glad I read your blog when I was about to give up on the book altogether!

Wow! You have finished it already? I am having trouble finding time to read these last few days!
