I Think I Need To Lie Down A Minute

Well today was the day. Who knew volunteering could be such hard work.

The morning rush went off without a hitch and I even made it to Tokyo with fifteen extra, glorious, enough time to enjoy a cuppa at Starbucks minutes.

But now, boy am I tried. No, let me say that again TIRED!!!! It might be from being packed in the train or a whole day of speaking and thinking in English or simply because I stayed up a little too late last night, but lord a mercy I know somebody who is going to bed with the kids tonight.

I have a little "homework" to do before my next class on Thursday plus I teach at Bailey's day care in the morning tomorrow and Hubs is gone until Friday so I am just gonna take it easy tonight. Re-energize revitalize, reverberate (or something like that). Looks like McD's will be providing dinner tonight!

Well, good for you for volunteering! I do actually do a bit once a week at my sons' school but that's a ten minute drive away. If it involved lots of trains and early rising then I am afraid I'd have looked the other way! What do you do and where do you do it? (If you can explaini in general enough terms so as not to identify the actual place and job!)

Volunteering can be so rewarding and so tiring. My word you had me laughing at think in English might have been the culprit or reason for being tired. lol

Hi Tricia,
I'm having trouble reading your posts. Only a portion of them show up for me in both IE and Firefox.
I know you're saying something about volunteering, but can't read the whole thing.
Hope all is well with you and your sweet little ones..
:)
