Towels everywhere!! Towels in the diaper bag, towels in the trunk, towels in the back seat. I never leave home without a big, light colored towel.
You never know when you might need one. They are useful for doubling as a blanket; for cleaning up messes; for a changing pad; for drying off after running through the rain to get from the store to the car; to cover car seats to keep the buckles from getting to hot; to cover the stroller to keep out light, rain, heat, etc; for privacy if you breastfeed; for putting baby down on the floor; and so many more uses (be sure to add your ideas in comments)
Being prepared for a variety of emergencies with a big, light colored towel-- it works for me.

Very nice, and I've found them to be handy when my kitchen used to flood, due to my frig having a mind of its own and despensing water without my knowing. lol
Rats, I was going to mention using a towel as a car seat cover but I see you already listed that.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve posted a WFMW tip as well, involving instructions on creating blogger categories. Please stop by and take a peek. :)
Great idea. Now I just gotta remember to bring it insdie to wash after I use it.
Yeppers, I have towels in the back of my suburban =)) After having a child throw up and NOT have towels, I now NEVER LEAVE without them.
I learnt this trick last summer, when all of a sudden my 3 year old became car sick. WE couldn't leave the house without him throwing up at least twice....the towels became my saviors :)
Thanks for sharing such a great tip :)
We have a whole cabinet of "dog towels" that we use for the nasy jobs. It would be nice to have them in the car too. thanks for the tip.
I used to use a towel under the car-seats when the twins were little, too. That is a great tip--especially for those with small children! I think I will put a towel in the back of my van right now--for emergencies! Thanks
What a great idea! Thanks for sharing & have a happy Wed!
