He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not

Bailey stayed at Gramma's house last night. She called and said he was crying to come home. Oh, how sweet, I thought, he misses his mommy.

I got his favorite dinner ready (Chicken nuggets, french fries, a banana and apple juice) and waited. The doorbell rang. In a flash, he took off his shoes and ran past me without so much as a hello.

"Sophie, Sophie," he called down the hall, "I am home." Followed by Sophie's laughter as she reached out to softly touch his face.

"Mommy," he said, "I missed Sophie. She's a good girl."

That is so precious. When your kids form bonds like that it will carry on for a lifetime. *smile*
