The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh
Hi Trisha, Came here from Tammy's. This is my 2nd stop on the bloggy tour. I was just in Australia at my friend Val's where it's already tomorrow! Stop by and visit my home tomorrow (or anytime!)
Your apartments looks just like the one my friends lived in when they were missionaries in Osaka, Japan. Teeny, tiny kitchen and everything. Looks like you have made it very homey. Your daughter was so cute sitting there in the first picture!
It's not only great visiting blogger homes but having them spread throughtout the world- even better. Your apartment is cosy and homely- l like that. Thanks for the tour :)
I loved visiting your apt. Our son and DIL are in an apt - just about to move into a 2 bedroom and very excited about it. Visiting you felt a bit like visiting them. Thanks for inviting me in to see your very busy place!
What a fantastic slide show software program thing-a-ma-jig! Thanks for stopping by my blog. How fun to "meet" someone from Japan! Your apt. looks great -- bigger than I thought abodes would be there.
Love seeing the cultural differences and similarities in living style. Shower rooms are a new thing for me. ;-) But I guess Martha transcends culture. :D
Thanks for the tour. We are military and may end up in Japan or Korea someday. I would be fine with the size, except the kitchen. You have made good use of the space.
You have a lovely home. Thanks for sharing with us :-). Love Japan too. My hubb-z goes to Nagoya for business about every 6-9 months and stays a month. He's going again after the first of the yr. He wants me to go, but the looong flight is something I don't want to do :-). Have A Great Weekend!!
Love you home! My husband lived in Japan for three years, and one of my good friends is from Himeji, Hyogo. I pray that some day I can visit this beautiful country. BTW - we have the same red-stripped apron!
When you said cozy kitchen, you weren't kidding! Were that a stainless steel counter top or just a drain board? Thanks for the tour! You have a cozy little corner of the world.
I found your profile on a friend's blog as she was also doing the home tour. I used to live in Osaka as a missionary and seeing your home tour was very "natsukashi" as it looked just like my apartment! God bless you as you live in that beautiful country!
You're never too young to start watching Martha! And I have exactly the same Mickey Mouse mug. Such a sweet home. Thank you so much for letting us peek inside.
I'm touring in numerical order and am so glad I found another apartment dweller. Can't wait to stop in and visit you again soon and learn more about you and your family. Thanks for opening up your space. You've made a really nice home for your family.
I love the slideshow! Is the door of your 'fridge multiple doors or is that a pattern? I love the stainless drain board/sink :) Thanks for showing us your home!
Love the idea of the slideshow! Great job! Thanks for sharing your home with us! (And your kids are adorable! :) ) Thanks for stopping by for my tour! :)
