My Name Is Laundry And I Will Not Be Ignored!!!

Laundry that never seems to end. A constant stream of putting in the clothes and soap, waiting for the beep to say that they are done, hanging them and starting all over again. I am on my last load and Bailey and his I-ain't-gonna-tolerate-no-kinda-food-or-drink-stomach have been asleep for close to two hours now. Hopefully, the end is near.

But, it has been kinda fun spending time with Bailey- just the two of us. We haven't done that in quiet some time. I sent Sophie to daycare so that I could take Bailey to the doctor and hopefully keep her from catching whatever Bailey has. Good thing, too, because the wait at the doctors and then at the pharmacy was close to three hours. I really, really wish that Japan had an appointment schedule, instead of this go in and wait and wait and wait.

The doctor said that he thinks Bailey might have a little bit of a cold and gave him medicine for his stomach and a suppository that I am supposed to use if he throws up again.

On a completely different topic, I have had a few comments that my blog isn't showing up like it should- half of the post is missing. Anybody else having this problem? (If you are you probably can't read this) Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?

The laundry . . . I need to tackle mine today. I feel like it's staring me down everytime I walk by the laundry room. I can't until summer when all the kids want to wear are bathing suits! :)

Oh, hope Bailey feels better soon! I can't believe you can't make an appt. at the office so you don't have to wait forever. That's different! lol Your blog looks great and I haven't had any trouble commenting other and if blogger eats it. :)

I do hope Bailey's better today and that he didn't pass his bug onto anyone else in the family. Throwing up is miserable for all concerned. Poor boy.....

Laundry. Yes, got to wash the contents of the entire house, or so it feels. Gah. We are at the dire No Clean Pants stage of the week!

You asked on my blog about ideas for teaching English - there are a lot of good resources out there. Lots of songs and lots of games and exercises is the way to go with big groups. Also you don't have to change the theme very often - I do eight week themes with the same three songs, one exercise, ten or so picture books and three or four games. I do the all the songs and the exercise every week, and rotate the games and the picture books (about three each session). The kids really only begin to retain the stuff about the 5th week, and we all know how much little kids like repetition!!!

Good places to look at are Genki English and Bogglesworld, and English Raven. I'd also recommend that you join the English Teachers in Japan Yahoo group (there are a variety of groups, one of them is an activities group which is great for lots of ideas.) You can find them by Googling ETJ and following the links.

Good luck!
