It's A Squeal

"Bailey read book." has become one of Bailey's favorite things to do when I am busy with housework or Sophie. Some books he knows almost by heart like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Good Night Moon or Hooray For Fish and can almost tell you the story word for word, but he doesn't stop there. The DaVinci Code, he took a crack at that one but was disappointed in the lack of pictures. "Bailey want picture." I think that he was "reading" Alice In Wonderland in this picture to cousins Aya (who was hiding behind her book trying not to laugh) and Kazu (who was inspecting Bailey's ears for wax.) Best as I can remember, it went a little something like this.... "Gib gab, yadda yadda, blah blah (no actual words just a lot of trying to repeat things he think he might have heard one time). There's a girl. She big. She yellow." Needless to say, his audience was captivated.

This is a plush Thomas the Tank Engine that Daddy won from one of those crane games. (Don't ask how many tries or how much money it took.) Sophie went crazy everytime she saw it. Her arms and legs would kick around wildly and she would squeal and cackle with delight (horror?) We were afraid she was gonna hyperventilate she squealed and laugjed so much.
